Getting started with RateBoard - new customers onboarding

You've signed your contract and want to know what the next steps are? Here you will find a description of the individual onboarding steps. The best part: your personal RateBoard onboarding manager will guide you through the whole process.

1. Intro mail & request for technical connectionautopilot icon

Before we can start with the technical connection, we first need some basic information about your hotel, which can be easily submitted to us via an online questionnaire. With this important input, we can start setting up your RateBoard account.

Important: At this point, please request the interface to RateBoard with your PMS partner (Property Management System). After the second step – the intro call – our team will get in contact with the respective PMS partner and arrange the connection date.

This is where you will meet your onboarding manager for the first time in a personal online meeting. The most important questions will be clarified and the next steps for the technical connection will be agreed upon.

Note: First, the interface from your PMS to RateBoard will be set up. Once the connection has been established, the RateBoard team will set up your hotel account and check that all data received is being processed correctly. Only when everything is set up perfectly will we begin to learn about the functions together.

In two online sessions, your onboarding manager will train you on the most important functions of RateBoard. We will first take a look at the dashboard and the settings and check whether the basic price levels and hotel setup has been entered correctly.

Note: If, after the first setup call, the technical connection of the PMS data has been established correctly and all rate settings are fine, the RateBoard team can complete the second technical connection, namely the interface for sending the RateBoard rates to the PMS or Channel Manager.

When all technical steps are completed, we will learn during the second setup call everything about the rate calendar with rate approval and the wide range of analysis options that RateBoard offers. After these steps, you will be ready to use RateBoard and benefit from its powerful features.

Note: RateBoard can be integrated into industry-leading PMS and channel managers. Depending on the interface, there may be minor differences or special features to consider when connecting. If this is the case, the details will be aligned with your onboarding manager.
